The entire center focuses on theme-based teaching. We try to unite the different classes on the same themes, structuring the curriculum around the children's  developmental needs.

Infant Program 6 weeks -18 months

Our infant program starts at 6 weeks.  At this young age the staff follows your child’s individual schedule that the parents provide.  Parents are asked to provide extra clothes, diapers and enough bottles to last the day.  We provide formula as well as Gerber food as your child grows and develops.  As the infant gets older they are gradually weaned into the class schedule.  The staff works with the infants through simple sign language.  This process, we found helps the staff understand the child’s needs and keeps frustration levels low.  The infant teacher prepares lesson plans around our weekly themes.  The teachers incorporate the state of Ohio’s infant and Toddler Guidelines.

Toddler Program 18 months-3 yrs

Before the age of three your child’s brain is growing by leaps and bounds.  They are discovering new words every day and curiosity is in full effect.  Our curriculum address this burst of learning and curiosity by having different play areas set up around the room, unique art projects and gym time as well.  The teachers develop age appropriate lessons that focus on colors, shapes, and potty training to name a few.

Preschool Program 3-5 years (the year before kindergarten)

Our two preschool classrooms have a lead teacher and an aid in each room.  The rooms are divided into 3 and younger 4’s, then our prekindergarten room is older 4 and 5’s.  Each classroom follows the same theme and academic standard and each curriculum is aligned with the state Early Learning Content Standards which will help prepare your child for kindergarten.  Along with everyday leaning at this age we do start to take the children on field trips for example the apple orchard and the zoo.  Our goal is to make learning fun!

Before and After School Care/Summer Program 6-12 years

During the school year, we provide before and after care that provides you child with breakfast and an afternoon snack, homework time, large motor play and age appropriate activities.  In the summer, our full day camp program includes theme based activities, swimming, special guests, and field trips.
