Miss. Kim has her associates degree in preschool education. She has worked at Little Feet for 8 years, but has 11 years of experience teaching children 3 to 5 year olds. She is certified in first aid, CPR, communicable disease, and child abuse prevention. Currently Miss Kim is the lead Pre-Kindergarten teacher and she has an aid in the afternoon. Miss. Kim sets limits and expectations of the children and gets them started on the road to being a “big kid.”
Miss. Kelly has worked at Little Feet for one and a half years and has experience in the infant, toddler, and is now the lead teacher in the preschool classroom. Kelly is a mother of 4 so she has a lot of energy to move around with her students. She is very personable and parents are very comfortable talking with her about their child’s day. She is certified in first aid, communicable disease, CPR and has completed 21 hours of child development training.
Miss Leslie is one of our younger staff members, but what she lacks in age she makes up for in experience. Leslie has completed 36 hours of Child Development courses focusing on infant development, art experience, gross motor, and classroom management. Miss Leslie is the lead infant teacher and has been a great asset to our staff for over a year. Leslie is certified in first aid, CPR, communicable disease, and child abuse prevention.
Mrs. Jackie is the assistant infant teacher working in the afternoons. She is our newest member, coming from another center’s infant program. Jackie likes to clean and rock the babies to sleep. She is certified in first aid, CPR, communicable disease, and child abuse prevention.
Mrs. Stephanie is the other assistant director. Mrs. Stephanie has worked at Little Feet for 5 years and is knowledgeable in every classroom, as she has worked in each classroom during her time at Little Feet. Now, she is a jack of all trades! She is our bus driver and cook, as well as floater throughout the center helping the teachers complete their daily duties. Mrs Stephanie is certified in first aid, CPR, communicable disease, and child abuse prevention. She is someone the parents can talk to regarding center matters and is extremely educated with the Child and Adult Care Food Program the center works with. Mrs. Stephanie is currently enrolled in nursing school.
Miss. Kristen is Little Feet Childcare’s director. She has worked in the childcare field for 10 years. Miss Kristen is a graduate from Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She has her teaching license through the state of Ohio in preschool through third grade. Miss Kristen’s office door is always open for parents to come in and talk, or for kids to come in and give a hug when they leave for the day.
Mrs. Tracey is the lead teacher in the toddler room and is also an assistant director. Tracey has worked at Little Feet for 4 ½ years. She received an administration award and has completed her CDA credential in infant and toddler development. She is certified in first aid, CPR, communicable disease, and prevention of child abuse. Mrs. Tracey is very open to talking to parents and discussing milestones the children should be reaching at this age, as well as giving them helpful tips on potty training.
Miss. Kali is the toddler aid and has worked at Little Feet for 7 months. Before she joined our team she worked in medical assisting in pediatrics for two years. She has completed her 45 hours in Child Development in courses such as health, nutrition, and safety for infant and toddlers making her very knowledgeable in these areas. Miss Kali is certified in first aid and CPR.
